The bungalows feature enchanting outdoor bathrooms and charming wooden designs, providing a unique rustic vibe that feels special during your stay. The pool is decent and adds a nice touch to the overall experience, making it ideal for a quick getaway.
Noise from nearby establishments can be bothersome, especially with loud music lasting until midnight, which makes sleeping difficult for light sleepers. Some maintenance issues were reported, like leaks and insects in the bungalows, indicating a need for better upkeep. The breakfast options, while adequate, often lacked creativity and substance, failing to impress on multiple occasions.

Reasons to love it – and reasons not to
Amidst the hustle of Canggu lies a tranquil oasis, where the friendly staff and delicious breakfast elevate the entire experience. The bungalows blend beautifully with nature, offering a serene escape that feels authentically Balinese.
Unfortunately, the lack of noise insulation can disturb light sleepers since nearby music may last until midnight. Additionally, the evenings can bring unexpected sounds from nature that may not be enjoyable for everyone.

Charming bungalows surrounded by lush gardens and a great pool. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive! Breakfast was quite good, though an extra slice of bacon wouldn’t hurt.
Could improve breakfast options.

The bungalows are surrounded by lush gardens, providing a beautiful and peaceful stay. We took a short bike ride through nearby paddy fields, which was a fantastic experience for our family. Plus, the breakfast was fresh and tasty every morning, especially the local dishes.
For dads, it would be great to have a safer, indoor bathroom option.

Calmtree Bungalows felt like a hidden gem. Our family stayed in a lovely bungalow surrounded by beautiful gardens, creating a serene atmosphere. The location was perfect, with just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The bungalows had a treehouse vibe that we absolutely loved. Breakfast options included delicious granola bowls, keeping our mornings delightful. The service was warm and welcoming. one staff member even remembered my custom drink without sugar, which added a nice personal touch. However, the noisiness in the evenings was a downside. Nearby music could be heard until past midnight, which might disturb light sleepers. Additionally, housekeeping was a bit minimal. We had to refill our own water and ask for essentials like toilet paper, which wasn't a huge issue but worth noting. Overall, the charm and beauty of the bungalows made for a memorable stay, despite some minor inconveniences.
